There is a lot of motorcycles converted to tricycles in my hometown, Porto Alegre, in southern Brazil, usually for cargo hauling with a multicab rear deck adapted to the front section of a 125cc motorcycle. Some are still chain-driven but other models use a shaft-driven solid rear axle.
It would be a good replacement for a jeepney.
